Yes. Your villa, resort room, vacation rental, or private estate becomes the treatment space. Vanessa arrives fully equipped with a professional massage table, linens, oils, and everything needed for your session. No travel on your part required.

Nothing at all. Vanessa brings everything: professional massage table, high-quality linens, premium herbal oils, curated aromatherapy, and all session tools. All you need is a quiet space of approximately 10‗12 feet in length and a few feet on either side for the table. A bedroom, living room, covered outdoor area, or even the kitchen can all work beautifully.

Wear whatever is comfortable to change into and out of. During the session, you will be professionally draped at all times, only the area being worked on is ever uncovered.

Every session is. Before we begin, Vanessa listens to what you share about your body, your goals, and how you’re feeling that day. From there, she draws on over 18 modalities to create the treatment that fits you specifically. No fixed protocol. No one-size-fits-all approach. Just intentional, responsive care.

Both. Desert Bodywork sessions range from deeply restorative and meditative to targeted therapeutic work that addresses chronic tension, structural restrictions, lymphatic flow, nervous system regulation, and recovery from physical activity. Whatever you’re carrying, physically or otherwise, the session is designed around it.

Pressure is always discussed at the start of your session and adjusted throughout. Vanessa does not default to a single pressure level; some work is slow and light (lymphatic, craniosacral), and some is firm and focused (deep tissue, trigger point). Your comfort and feedback guide everything. You will never be asked to endure discomfort.

Booking 48–72 hours in advance is recommended, especially during peak season (November through May) when availability fills quickly. Same-day appointments are available, subject to scheduling; call or text (760) 895-0680 for same-day requests.

Credit cards, cash, Venmo, and Zelle are all accepted. Payment is due at the time of service. Gift certificates are also available for purchase through the booking page.

Life happens. In the event of a genuine emergency, please reach out as soon as possible, and every effort will be made to accommodate with care and discretion.

Completely. All client information, health history, contact details, and session notes are held in strict confidence and never shared with third parties. Desert Bodywork operates with the same standards of discretion you would expect from any licensed medical professional. Your trust is the foundation of this work.
